Greetings EMGs officers,
I hope this message finds you in good health.
I am Rakib Hossain,a Bangaldeshi passport holder. My validity of the passport is until 27th of August 2022. I have applied for my visa renewal on February which gives me a 17months of validation of my passport for my application. However, unfortunately,my institution have received an email from EMGS staring that, ‘I need a 18 months validation on my passport before I apply for the Visa. I don’t understand,EMGs will only issue a 12 months visa on every renewal,I still have 5 months extra as my passport validation. Can you please explain the reasons behind it or if there can be any consideration seeing the time of my passport validation. I am just lacking one month from the requirements (17 months instead of 18months)
