Dear EMGS officer

I’m Ikhwanul Ikhsan, a final year student from Indonesia and this semester, I plan to go back to Malaysia for doing my Final year Project. So from January 2021, Indonesia government has conducted vaccination to public to fight Covid-19. So my question is, If I already get vaccine from the government of Indonesia, should I follow the mandatory quarantine to?, And get the vaccination from the government of Malaysia?. I hope I can get reasonable answer, so it can reach to other international student who face the same situation as me.

  Hi Ikhwanul,
  
  Kindly note that all international students have to comply with the ruling of mandatory quarantine of seven (7) or ten (10) days before entering campus.
  
  We are yet to receive any update regarding the vaccination for international students from the Government of Malaysia. Any updates regarding this matter will be notified accordingly.

    Dear officer, thank you for replying. I’m aware that we as International student need to conduct mandatory quarantine, but in my question is, If I already got vaccination from my government (Indonesia), should I still conduct the mandatory quarantine?, Even if I already got vaccination on my country?. I Hope you understand the question sir.

      Hi Ikhwanul,
      
      Please note that even if you are vaccinated, you will be required to undergo the mandatory quarantine.
