Hi EMGS, please update us at least about when will Malaysia allow student dependents. It is really important because some of us need to decide and plan based on this. If I can’t go back to Malaysia soon, then I cannot continue my research in that manner without my baby. I will obviously have to choose my baby over my PhD. But I will at least have to sell everything and withdraw and travel authorisation takes time. It would be great if we just get an estimate about when Malaysia plans on letting student dependents. Please please understand the situation and provide us with this detail at least. Please ask the relevant departments on behalf of us as you are our only source of communication.

  We understand your predicament. However, we are yet to receive an update pertaining to entry for dependants as this will solely be at the discretion of the Malaysian government. Rest assured, we will notify institutions and students once there are further instructions on this matter.
