Please be informed that on the 7th of September 2020, the Malaysian Government announced that long-term pass (including Student Pass)holders from 23 countries are banned from entering Malaysia. However, kindly note that the Malaysian Government has reviewed the previous decision and is now allowing existing students from the 23 countries mentioned in our bulletin to enter Malaysia. EMGS will now continue processing Travel Authorisation applications that were placed on hold due to the travel ban announcement. Students that received a rejection for their Travel Authorisation applications from the Malaysian Immigration Department must create and submit a new application if they still wish to return to Malaysia and continue their studies.
Furthermore, entry for dependants is still on hold until further notice. We will only be able to advise once we receive further instructions on this matter.
The ban is been lifted only the existing students can travel and enter malaysia for now as emgs announced check the new bulletin at emgs site.
It’s not lifted yet. They did not allow my friend to return malaysia
