Hello, i wanted to ask if it is possible to renew my visa only for six months instead of the usual 12months. This is because my passport has less than 18 months which is required for 1 year visa renewal. Also there has been a delay in getting a new passport . So i choose to renew for 6 months only while waiting for my new passport yo be completed.

  The recommended passport validity duration is 12 months from the date of application.
