Dear EMGS I have 2Q: 1- Can I renew my student visa through Malaysian embassy? If not Can I renew it myself through EMGS or it must be through my university?
No. You can apply for renewal only through your university.
How long the process could take?
There is no specific timeline. It needs a week for the university to creat a record with emgs then it will probably take around 20 calendar days for the supporting letter to be sent to the immigration department then 14 working days for the sticker.
