    • As I understood from previous questions, NDLEA is required from Nigerian students except for PhD students.

      Yes

      • Abu Maimuna.
To get eligibility letter for PhD program, what are the requirements, do I need to authenticate all of my documents or I just need to tender my masters certificate only for the purposes of eligibility letter?
Pls i need your WhatsApp number if possible

@ babatunde, first you have to authenticate your 1st degree and masters certificates then apply for eligibility Letter after that you proceed to federal ministry of foreign affairs for endorsement of the authenticated documents. Thanks

        • Just your highest certificate. Did mine last week. I did all but the embassy told me I just needed the highest qualification. Then get eligibility letter

          • You mean I will just authenticate my masters degree and get my eligibility letter if I’m going for PhD, without submitting my O’level and Bachelor degree?

    • replied 5 years ago

@ Buhari daura, you have to apply for NDLEA certificate as early as possible because it’s take 2-3 weeks, go to NDLEA office in your state and apply

      • @abu_maimuna please do I need to authenticate my O’level alongside my degree certificate for masters applicant or my degree certificate is sufficient. Thanks

        • replied 5 years ago

Just highest certificates are needed i.e degree certificate is ok

          • So Masters certificate will only be authenticated for PhD applicants to get eligibility letter?!!
Do I tender the authenticated cert at the embassy or the eligibility letter is enough…

            • replied 5 years ago

Both 1st degree and masters must be authenticated and must be endorsed by ministry of foreign affairs including eligibility Letter and you tender all authenticated certificates/endorsed and eligibility Letter

      • If you are going for PhD, you don’t need NDLEA

    • Hi Buhari,

Kindly refer to the Malaysian embassy at your home country as they are in a better position to advise on this matter.

      Have a nice day.
