Hi, I Sinthukan, Sri Lankan citizen, currently studying at Sunway College, Johor Bahru under student pass PE1189229. I am doing Monash University Foundation Year now and completing the course by end of May 2019. I would like to start my degree (July or October 2019 intake) in Malaysia. Due to the unsafety in Sri Lanka, I prefer to stay in Malaysia for now and apply for a student pass. But, I wonder whether I can stay in Malaysia and apply for the student visa for my degree or I have to exit from the country and apply?. Also, if I can apply from other countries, is that possible?
I need your advice regarding my student pass.

  Hi, thank you for the information. But my visa is valid till 18th of July 2019. So, I need your advice if I’m going to apply for October intake, will I be able to extend my visa before applying for university or when should I apply for new visa/ renewing this visa? I need more clarification about this issue. Thanks in advance!
