You can write an explanation letter to immigration explaining why you cant fullfill minimum requirements. Attach it with the study plan for next semester or letter from your student advisor for added things. That is what i did. They will give u 6 months (1 sem) student pass if approved and if you can get 2.00 CGPA for next semester it will be ok. Hope yhat helps. Dont give up, or need to change major.
