i dont know what ur experience was but i have seen q lot of people get their VAL in just 2 weeks and have no problem at all cause they had all the right documents.if u wont provide them with right documents ur visa will get rejected so i recomend people to provide the right data instead of complainng like u
@Faraz anwar: Please stop judging before blaming me for complaining. You have no idea how much I have to go through to get this VAL. Secondly, me and a friend both finished degree from same college, did medical from same hospital and applied for VAL together. Her one was approved a month ago. But they refuse to approve mine. And I believe it’s my right to know the reason, why the reject my VAL, rather than hiding it.! How come my friend’s VAL is approved and not mine?
@Ahmed Hadad. Thank you for your concern. My VAL was rejected at 35%, without any reason given. I have been trying repeatedly to solve whatever issue it was. My university appealed for my VAL and after waiting for over a month, my VAL appeal was rejected today. Still no reason given. Nor my university or EMGS has any clue why it’s rejected. Only immigration knows. If there is anyway I could know the reason, I can actually correct it and appeal once again.
Tell us what’s in the remarks section. Did you have any problems prior or while getting to 35%? Also, how long did it take you to get there? Were you in Malaysia before?
No, I got to 35% in about a week or more. But at 35% it got rejected. Later my college appealed and it was processing. But at 60% appeal was rejected by immigration.
Yes, I visit Malaysia often and as a Maldivian I get on arrival visa. Never faced any issue.
However, for my bachelors – it took over an year for VAL approval and I decided to quit college because of all the hassle.

They they approval of val is at the discretion of immigration office only which means it’s confidential and immigration will not let anyone know.
