Dear EMGS
Few friends arrived in the last two days with the VAL documents to Kuala lumpur airport. All required documents were with them. These friends are from Yemen and in the recent situsion because the Malaysian embassy in Yemen is not functioning , the new students arrive to the airport without Single visa entry.
Unfutunatily, emigration at the airport did not allow these new arrivals and requested the single visa permission. After the intervention of the EMGS, these students been allowed to enter the city.
Could you please explain what is happened and why the airport emegration started to ask for the single visa although the Malaysian embassy is still not functioning in Yemen.
Your help is highly appreciated .

  Single Entry Visa is required to the countries that required it before entering Malaysia. I think its not the immigration officer fault for not letting you in without SEV in hand as it is the rules stated unless your countries is listed under countries did not need SEV. Regardless the embassy not functioning or not, dont think its the immigration problem for them as they are just doing their jobs.
