my son apply to VAL through university of nottingham .visa office in nottingham university says that VAL will delay to the beginning of october due the new regulation from ministry of home affairs that force the university to update their system And wait the license from ministry of home affairs and VAL will not completed until all this will finish .
I checked his application progress on EMGS and find it 30 % pending for a document from the university
the study will start at 24-9 which make me blame myself to select malaysia for my son as study destination ,he face this issue at the beginning of his university experience
he will lost at least 3 week from first semester and there is no 100% guarantee that he will get the VAL at the end.
i suggested to the university to send him with single entry visa and after VAL ready he will leave malaysia and enter again to Get student visa but univercity refuse because they have strict instruction from ministry of home affairs to don’t accept any student with similar visa type .
i just wondering if any one face the same issues or have suggestion to solve this issues.
