Dear emgs officer, I applied to university of Malaya recently and got offer letter. Then I wanted to apply for VAL but both the visa Unit of um and emgs officers suggested me to get new passport as old passport had less validity (less than 18 months).

Now I got new Bangladeshi passport with 5 years validity.

Now I wish to apply for VAL but my offer letter states my old passport number. So its not matching with the new passport number. But new passport information page mentions the old passport number as you might be knowing.

Please suggest me what to do.
