Thank you for a prompt reply, what would happen if one enters the country while still waiting for a VAL from EMGS as a tourist. Some of my students have planned to travel to Indonesia from Thailand via MALAYSIA, and they applied for VALs a week a go. They planned to travel around the end of this July.
I also have another student who is a Filipino, he studies in Thailand and will do a mobility study in Malaysia in Sept. He applied for a VAL, but while keying in his nationality, the website showed that he needed to go back to the Philipines to apply for a VAL. He is now a student holding a single entry student visa and lives in Thailand. Going back to the Philippines will cause a lot of problems and expenses for him which is not affordable.
