I just wrote a letter trying to convince EMGS that my intentions of coming to Malaysia to study were just that and nothing more. The school also wrote a letter and along that we thought it best to send my certificate for academic excellence as well. I’m actually a…[Read more]

@Shahzad, Chuck. Thanks for replying back, both of you. According to EMGS, they wish for me to get a different passport than the one I currently have. I’m currently in possession of a refugee travel document so now I have to get one from my country of origin. But I don’t know if that’s possible. It defeats the whole purpose of being a refugee in…[Read more]

Hi, Chuck! You should get in touch with the staff member who you usually send your documents to. They’re the ones that take care of everything for you. As for there being little chance for your appeal to be approved, it all depends on whether the decision taken was final or not. If it is final, then there’s no chance at all.

If I remember correctly, my application got rejected on the 28th december 2018. I then made the appeal to overturn the rejection the following day and have been waiting ever since. So, I’d say it’s been about 13 days counting in saturdays and sundays. I’m also always in touch with Limkokwing. They keep telling me to be patient, that eventually the…[Read more]

Hey, everyone! My query is specifically directed to those who had their VAL application rejected on first try and then had to appeal with the help of their institution. My question is, how long did it take you to get a definitive answer from EMGS? And how many of you got a positive one? I’m supposed to start classes this coming february at…[Read more]
