Otherwise, you’ll have to go back home in order to change your visa. Or maybe the immigration will consider allowing you to change the visa here

I’m an existing student. I personally don’t think that they’ll allow new students to get in the country before August.
The Malaysian government is trying to protect its citizens for as long as they can.
