If you dont do it from the approved medical center of Malaysian immigration in India,  you will be required to do it in Malaysia at the time of registration at your university. Usually VAL takes 15-25 days these days to reach 70% which is the stage when you are awarded VAL. You need maximum 7 days after that to get your Single Entry Visa to Malaysia.</p>

The tests includes a number of blood tests to ensure you are free HIV, Hapatitis etc. Second they will conduct your vision test. Third Chest X Ray and lastly a discussion with and check up with the doctor to ensure you are sane and stable.</p>

In some cases even less than that. Thus I feel safe to give range of 6-12 weeks foe VAL to be granted to student.</p>

<p>Assuming that you refered to 60% progress, you will reach 70% in a day or two. After that ask your uni to send you VAL. With that VAL go to nearest Malaysian embassy and apply for Single Entry Visa. You should get that in 5 -7 days.</p>
