Hello Sir / Madam,
I renewed my eVal in March this year (2021). It’s been 9 months and it hasn’t deactivated it still says 100% complete and such. Does that mean it’s still valid? Can I use it for my travel back to Malaysia in Jan 2022

If you have questions about your semester, you need to ask your Uni not EMGS. Because EMGS is incharge of Eval and travel passes not the actual studies.

I think that’s how you’d categories it. I payed for the VAL in April last year, but Covid happened and I couldn’t travel and it expired. So they reopened my file and extended my VAL but it doesn’t say ‘Extended’ since I didn’t actually to travel.

I agree, I’ve gotten the vaccine as well. So it seems a bit unnecessary to have to pay for quarantine.

Basically your college needs to confirm the fact that you’re a student there. Just ask the International Student Department in your Uni and they’ll sort it out.

Yup, you can either email them or just Google the Malaysian Embassy or Consolate of your country and go through the website. All the instructions will be there.

Mine has been the same way. Is there an issue with the documents or something? I don’t know but it’s so hard to be just wait when there is no sign of the VAL

I\’m with you. I\’ve been waiting for two months to get my renewal and still no response. The time difference is killing me, I have to wake up at 4am for some classes!!
I don\’t know why a Renewal is taking so long, my VAL like yours was already approved before, I don\’t understand why its taking soo long!

Why is the processing taking so long? I got my VAL and it expired because I couldn\’t travel due to all the restrictions. Now it\’s been over two months since I asked for a renewal and the progress still remains as it did in February 2020!!! Please help me out here, I\’ve been doing classes online and in April I need to be there for face to face classes!!!
