Once you submit your passport to your university international office and they submit to emgs it will become 90%, once immigration issues student pass it will become 95%, 97% when passport ready to collect by University from emgs

It will become 95 when EMGS will get notification that the student pass has been issued by immigration, 97 when passport is ready to collect from EMGS, all this depends on immigration. It can take a week, a month. Depends

All depends on your luck, 70-100% is done in Malaysia, till 70% it should take you 3weeks

Within 3 working days they will check the documents, if all is okay they will submit to immigration within 5 working days

If additional documents or issues doesn’t arise, EMGS will forward to immigration in 2-4 working days, once they submit to immigration it should take 7-10 working days (depends on your luck, can be faster can be later also)

Also you need to check with embassy if you can apply from another country, from Malaysia for sure you cannot apply

Once you download the VAL check if your country requires single entry visa, if it requires then go to embassy

You have to download the VAL, proceed to apply for single entry visa if there is embassy of Malaysia in your country if not then you can plan your travel to Malaysia

That’s okay, when you get to Malaysia after your uni registration you can submit, check with the embassy you applied in about single entry visa

Download it, if your country has Malaysia embassy, consulate or high commission apply for single entry visa if not then plan your travel to Malaysia
