The reason for rejection was I had to submit all the passport pages and latest exit stamp. My case was the same and i had to wait three weeks so i got to know the reason for my rejection. Now after appeal my application have been Im the immigration for four weeks But i wish my application gets approved soon! Dont worry its going to be Ok. Im sure ur uni can appeal for u!:)

You can\’t obtain SEV occe you are already in Malaysia. It has to be at Malaysian embassy at your country of residence. Most Arab countries require SEV. Only a few asian countries are exempted.

Note that if you already received VAL, it\’s only 3 days at the embassy to obtain SEV. I am Egyptian too btw.

Visa waiver for Egyptians for and other nationals is in the case of tourism purposes and for durations of stay less of 90 days or less. Any duration intended more than 90 days(which is the case for study purposes) you are required to obtain visa at the nearest Malaysian embassy.

careful that you will not be allowed to enroll in the University unless you have both a valid VAL and SEV. If you enter with anirmal pass (tourist visa-90 days) and not a special pass (SEV) you will not be able to process/obtain a student pass and you\’ll have to leave the country and reenter with sev

At Malaysian embassy. Alternatively, on arrival at the airport if there is no Embassy in your country. Have you received VAL yet?

Mine was also like that. I had to wait for three weeks for the reason. U should ask ur institution contact immigration or emgs and they will let know the reason. But Unfortunately it might take a while if there wasnt any reason stated in the rejection letter. But they will let u know just dont know how lomg its gonna take. In my case it took 3 weeks.

Mine got rejected too. But my University did an appeal for me and now its going on again But still in immigration. U need to wait that the rejection letter is couried to ur institution and they can do an appeal for u!

Yeah, 3 working days optimally to get approved (60%). A couple days more to receive it from your institution.

It was never rejected. This is correction because of a mistake in tge VAL.

From 15 august to 25th September (but take into consideration the holidays). Some people, however, had their correction done in two weeks.

No, three days is when it\’s being couriered. Thos one needs correction. Some got it after correction in 4 weeks others after two weeks.

I am not sure after the recent changes but before it was from 35% – 60% in and it took 3 working days. 60% means approved by immigration and ready for collection.
