I have an enquiry please, I received an e guide from UTM after receivng my val. it was mentioned in the e guide that students have to pass an english counter during registartion, what does it mean please? (is it like an english test, and do the students who have already taken toefl or ielts need to take it) Thank you very much

Unfortunately, I don’t have information about what to do in your case. You should try to contact your institution and ask for their help, enquire from EMGS as well for their reason for rejecting your VAL. Good luck and all the best

Contact both EMGS and your institution, and explain to them your enquiry. Normally, EMGS have to update one day after receiving the proof of payment from your institution (in case you choose to pay through institution).

and to gain time, ask EMGS if you can email your new photo to them instead of creating a new application, in my case I created a new application but a person here informed me that it was possible to email the photo directly to EMGS. But you should ask EMGS about it. Good luck.

I contaced UTM as well when submitting my 3rd application and I told them about the problem I was facing. They suggested that I email my new photo to them. I emailed it to them and they offered me help.

I faced the same problem and my application was cancelled two times, but fortunately it was accepted in the 3rd time (I tried a better photographer and explained to him the photo requirements, in my case the photo background was not white enough to meet the photo requirements)

Try to call EMGS or contact them via their facebook page, and try to contact your university as well. (in my case, EMGS responded to my emails after one or two days, maybe they will respond to your enquires soon)

Actually, my application was cancelled (but this was before the creation of my record, which means before I could check my application percentage). So, I had to create a new application, but a person here told me that he faced the same thing and it was possible to just email the new photo to EMGS to gain time. I faced the same problem with my photo (my personal photo not the one of the passport), my photo background was not white enough to meet the requirements so I had to change the photographer and it worked. You should try another photographer who is better and tell him about the requirement.

You should contact both EMGS and th institution, and explain to the the problem you’re facing. Because normally, the institution emails the proof of payment to EMGS just after one or two days EMGS requests it and EMGS normally have to update one day after receiving the proof of payment. You sould call or email them as soon as possible.

@ousman you should contact both UTM and EMGS. In my case, UTM emailed the proof of payment to EMGS just after one or two days EMGS requested it and EMGS normally have to update one day after receiving the proof of payment.
