1 to 2 months that’s if you don’t have pending documents to submit . I started my application on the 18th of December 2021, I got my eval on the 25th Jan 2022.
I applied to UPM also

You don’t have to buy iPhone before you register. I’m using android and it worked for me. What you need to do is uninstall and reinstall the app and try again.
