I think You cannot take single entry visa if your-student visa is expired. Your institutions will guide you on this. I don’t have clue how much time it will take.

For new university you will need to leave Malaysia.

One of my friend from Pakitan also want this but you can bring your wife later when you get the student pass. Dont take her with you (this is a recommended procedure)

I think you can submit to an agent and get single entry visa. I am from Pakistan too but first time I got evisa from Their Beijing consulate while I was staying at Korea. From Pakistan you cant apply for evisa I think.

No need of color print. Simple Black print is also ok. I had got that 2 year ago.
