Can I reapply for a student visa after it being rejected ? What is the process to follow, and does the rejection due to a small error in a document, reduce my chances of approval after my re-application?

I applied for a student visa via passport number AK1132703. The EMGS approval came through within 10 days of creating my record, and my application for VAL was submitted to immigration on 30/6/2023. By 01/07/2023, status was showing rejected. Please advise on the way forward for this. What could be the cause of rejection and is there a way to fix it?
