i’ve bought the student own group insurance in my home country, do i need to purchase insurance again in malaysia? the insurance company told me that the insurance that i have purchaesd can cover me well in malaysia as it contains the policy required by the malaysian government.

it cannot be change so you need to pay directly to the EMGS account number by bank transfer and send the proof of payment to the institution through email.

Yes. Pre medical screening is not required for VAL processing.
