My val got rejected but my institution asked for appeal on my behalf and they said its on progress but on the website it still shows 40% so anyone who was in this kind of situation how long did it take to show on the website that it was back to normal?

Just wait for the rejection letter, ask the uni for the reason if there are missing required docs just confirm with them and ask, and send it
