I already submitted my passport for renewal but because of MCO all of it is suspended. But next semester (august), I will have my internship. So, incase I have not get my passport back and the renewal have not finished yet, is it legal for me to have internship in Malaysia?

I already submitted my passport to my university. But because oc the MCO, they postponed everythin, and my student visa is expiring on 4 April 2020. And my school is closed until 19 april. Am I still allowed to stay here sibce my visa is expiring. Will I be fined for anything?
