So, let’s say my student Visa expired on Feb 15th, I go to my hometown on Feb 14th, then I come back to Malaysia using tourist visa on Feb 20th and stay for 3 weeks to cancel my visa.

Is that possible?

They give you some member id card along with it. Before buying that contact your university if they have a cheaper option.

Also if you don’t get student pass within 2-3 weeks they charge you around RM 150 for a special pass.

To recieve student pass, post arrival medical check-up is required along with your other documents so I think 75 percent indicates that. Incase you have any doubt , you should just ask your university international office, they will be much more help to you.

There is time limit of 3 or 5 working days if I am not wrong. You need to provide that letter where you did your medical test.
