Just get to know from the VISA unit at UM that if a student apply for a Dependent Pass, then he/she needs to show and maintain RM 20k (10k for student + 10k for dependent) till the stamp is issued. Is this correct? And how a student earning 1500-2000 per month will manage to show 20k in his savings account? Please clarify.
