Hey guys. I have submitted all my decuments to EMGS but there was some error issue about the payment so I chose to pay through institution. Is it necessary to pay before the process began?

@natasya my VAL was approved(60%) on 10th August but iice then its pending correction approval from immigration because duration in in issued VAL doe not meet the duration applied for. Any experience with such cases? How lo g does correction need to be approved? Because some people applied after mine was approved and already received their VAL!!!

Got my VAL today finally.
Strangely it took only 13 working days, but 26 regular days due to alot of public holidays in the between. Rest assured everyone. As mentioned on thier FAQ, if all documents are in order, it will not take more than 14 working days

@natasya my friends Val expired but she already acquired a single entry visa. So can she enter malaysia now and apply for the Val or does she have to wait for the new Val ?

I have an enquiry please, I received an e guide from UTM after receivng my val. it was mentioned in the e guide that students have to pass an english counter during registartion, what does it mean please? I’am living in saudi arabia and I think I will get my Val next week. The malaysian consulate in jeddah will stay open until next week then it will close until September 11 so I don’t think I will have time to get my SEV in the next week and my intake is in September. I want to ask can I get the SEV at the airport if i’am Syrian ?

Can someone tell the main stages of VAL processing, their corresponding and what is being done or processed at that stage. Like from 0-15%, what happens here? (this is the first stage I think) (and I think it’s for payment checking and receiving). And also how long it takes to progress to the next step.

Is VAL addressed to a certain country or embassy? After I receive val can i obtain SEV from any country with a Malaysian embassy. Like if I am traveling to another country as for tourism or such, could I obtain SEV from Malaysian embassy in that country once I receive VAL?
